Kheaye Speaks 01

I choose relationship with my friends and my family over my political belief or stand. For months now, due to the different political belief of a friend and a family member causes some relationships/friendships broken (Thank God that I still have good relationship with them.) without thinking that this politicians only know the “ordinary” Filipino peoples problems and hardships during election as they want to have our vote. Yes, our votes counts and matter. Every person votes is important. With that being said, MY VOTE, MY CHOICE is also important same as everyone else. And whoever I will vote this May 8 Elections, it is MY choice. It may affect my friends and family same as their vote will affect me. Thus, we should respect each other choices and stand. Share your thoughts on why you are voting this politician but remember you have no right to shove your choice in other peoples throat especially if all they want is just to express on why they choose another.

Not because this person choose does not share your stand, no one has the right to call other people names like Bobo or Elitista or the like. We should stop name calling and start RESPECTING. We have to accept that we are all have different choices in life and that includes in Politics. Even if others has the same politician to vote but I am sure they have different reasons as to why they vote that politician. The key word here is RESPECT OUR DIFFERENCES.

For the record, I want all my friends and family to know that:

  • As of now, I only have sure choice in Vice President and that is Sara Duterte. Don’t try to convince me otherwise because I will just ignore you and I will not listen. I respect your choice and will not convince you to vote for Sara.
  • As of now, I don’t have a sure choice for President and Senators. Though I have someone or some people in my mind already. Again, don’t convince me to vote for your choice because I will not listen to you. By the end of the day, I will go whoever I choose and want to vote.
  • I am more concerned on whoever will win in the Local Government. What I learned during Pandemic is that, Local Officials are important as they are more within reach and easily to visit and contact in time of need. This, you can SUGGEST. I will listen to whoever you recommend and might consider, but again, DON’T FORCE ME TO VOTE for that politician.

The Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms are already toxic. There are lots of hate. That is why, either I unfollow those posts or ignore. I may have shared some posts that contains political posts. However, I see things differently. I don’t dwell on the political content because again, I CHOOSE ON MY OWN. For instance, seeing a posts comparing Gab Valenciano and Mark Herras dance performance. For me, I can’t compare them because they have different style of dancing. I am not well verse in type of dances but since I have some few dancer friends, I think Gab dance style is more into Pop & Lock and Krumping while Mark dance style or performance is also different. Not sure what style it is, Pop I think. I appreciate both dance performance from 2 of the best dancers in the Philippines and did not see less on which side they are in. There is no comparison because they dance different style. For me, you can compare if they both have the same dance style.

I may have put some reactions on my friends and family posts but not a negative one. If I agree I put some reaction icon and if not I ignore. That is called RESPECT. I respect their choice and their political stand. I hope they do the same, as an old saying goes: Respect if you want to be respected.

Let us all remember, when the election is over. New leaders will manage Philippines and there is still groups who will rally on the streets a month after. Those groups who also go on rally during the previous administration. And after election, those promises by the National Leaders and those politicians who shake your hand during campaign period, for those who win the election will now have Security around them. You will not able to come close to shake their hands nor take a selfie. As for those who are not lucky enough, well, not sure what they will do.

As for me, I will continue to do what I regularly do just like before. Hustle harder in life. Work and work and work. Work hard since there are bills to be paid and adult responsibilities to face. However, still hoping to work abroad again and maybe, just maybe, I will be able to find Adam just like Eve, my Romeo just like Juliet, my Spiderman just like MJ or my Captain America just like Peggy Carter. Will also try to grow my social media pages especially my Facebook Page and YouTube Channel by being more aggressive in posting contents.

To all my friends and family remember this: MY VOTE. MY CHOICE. MY VOICE.

#election #mychoice #myvote #myvoice #secondpost #respect

This right to vote is the basic right without which all others are meaningless. It gives people, people as individuals, control over their own destinies.
