Few years back, when I am still working in Guyana, South America, I saw this shoes which I really like. It became my power shoes when I was able to buy it before. I feel beautiful, sexy and confident when I am wearing this red shoes. When my contract has ended, I have to leave a few things and one of those things that was left behind was my red high heel shoes.
One day, out of nowhere I felt this want to have that shoes again. So, I searched online. I search and search but failed. I was sad thinking I can’t have that shoes again. From time to time I search again online thinking that I will be able to buy it here in Philippines. Then I checked the photo of the shoes that I have before and checked the brand. I am not sure if that is a popular brand. I don’t care actually. When I found the old photo and saw the brand, I googled it. Alas! Found it. However, the online stores where the shoes is available is in the US and they only shipped within that state. I was lost and sad. But then, my Uncle who is currently living in Los Angeles, California crossed my mind and shared with him about this shoes. I asked his permission if it is possible to shipped the shoes to him once I will be able to buy it and he agreed. So, I told myself that I will save my salary and buy it eventually.
When I have enough funds to buy the shoes, I checked the site. To my horror, the shoes was marked sold out. That means someone already brought it. I was so sad. I told myself, well it is not meant for me. I was little depressed at that time but accept the fact that I can’t have the shoes that I know I would love to have.
One night, few weeks after, my uncle sent a photo message. I was super shocked when I saw his message. I even cried, honestly, I can’t believe it! My uncle brought it in my behalf. So, the money that I saved, I pay it to him. I am super thankful to my uncle and told him that it is an advance Birthday Gift for myself. Trivia, I am not sure if other countries have this belief that when it comes to shoes, you should not let someone give or buy it for you because a bad thing might happen to your relationship with that person. That is why I always buy my own footwear.
I felt so happy and blessed. I am so thankful to my uncle. I really thought I can’t have my favorite shoes. I will not wear it for now. I will wait for that special occasion, which is on my birthday for me to wear it. Together with my favorite bag (See: I love red and I love bags Post). I will post it in my IG and Facebook Page. Maybe, I will update this post and share with you when I am wearing it.
In spite of the heartaches and depression that I felt for some time now, Papa Jesus will also bring something to my life and remind me of the things that should matter and that I should thankful for. That is my family. I am also thankful to Papa Jesus who always answers my prayers in his rightful time.
